Be a part of the largest Women's Golf Association and Get Ahead!

We hope you have seen the exciting news about the LPGA - EWGA Strategic Alliance announced last week!

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) have jointly announced plans to form a strategic alliance to further promote the growth of women's golf. Together with the LPGA Women's Network, this alliance will create a seamless transition for women looking to go from aspiring player to recreational golfer. The two organizations believe their partnership will promote the growth of women's golf and serve as an advocate for positive change within the game.

"Our strategic alliance with the LPGA and the LPGA Women's Network marks the beginning of a new era for women's golf," said Jane Geddes, Chief Executive Officer of the EWGA. "With the support of the LPGA, we look forward to creating a clear pathway for women golfers to play our sport by attracting thousands of new, aspiring players to the game as well as adding more exciting playing opportunities for current EWGA members."

More specific details regarding the alliance will be communicated within the next few months. Until then, EWGA members may learn more about the announcement, including the official press release and frequently asked questions at ewga.com.

BOARD HIGHLIGHTS - Chapter Updates

Your Central Indiana Board has been busy this last month setting goals, objectives, and actions for the 2018 season. We hope you are able to take advantage of our education & social activities during the winter months as well (see Events).

The details of our goals will be covered at our April 21 kickoff (to register now, click on the Event Tab at the top of the page and select "2018 Chapter Kickoff and Golf"). Our objectives include providing flexible golf opportunities for competitive, social, and beginning golfers as well as volunteer/charity activities. We are offering mentor and educational programs throughout the year. Events are in the planning stage from a par 3 outing to a social golf event to full competitive golf options.

We have a specific goal to grow leaders within our chapter - a chance for you to be more involved. And, we are very excited as a Board and individual members be part of the LPGA/EWGA journey!
